The Communications Division of Human Rights Watch is seeking a full-time intern in Brussels, available for six months starting September 2026. The Communications Division of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking a university student or recent graduate to intern full‑time, maximum 35 hours per week, in the Brussels office. Proficiency in English and strong competency in French is required. Ideally, the candidate will be available for six months beginning in September 2026 through March 2027.
Internship compensation varies by jurisdiction. Students currently enrolled who are completing this internship as part of their university program must provide proof of external funding and will be reimbursed for lunch and local travel costs, subject to HRW policy. Recent graduates will receive a gross stipend of EUR 1,095 per month.
