IKEA Gruppe in Belgium is seeking a Communication Specialist to bring IKEA's communication strategy to life through internal and external initiatives.

You will develop campaigns, support media relations, write press releases, drive internal comms and engagement, manage projects, build stakeholder relationships, monitor trends, and ensure localisation and translation reflect the IKEA tone.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in internal and/or external communications.
• Native French speaker with strong English and Dutch skills.
• Experience in stakeholder and project management.
• Proactive and hands-on mindset.
• Knowledge of IKEA values and culture.

Responsabilités

• Developing communication content and campaigns.
• Supporting communication projects and media relations activities.
• Writing press releases, Q&As, and stakeholder communications.
• Driving internal communication and co-worker engagement.
• Managing communication projects from planning to execution.
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitoring communication trends and continuously improving ways of working.
• Supporting localisation and translation projects to ensure a native customer and co-worker experience.
• Collaborating with external translation partners and internal stakeholders.

Who you are

You are a passionate communicator who understands the power of storytelling and engagement. You enjoy working with different stakeholders, managing projects, and creating meaningful communication that strengthens a brand's reputation.

You have:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in internal and/or external communications
• Native French speaker, Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
• Experience in stakeholder and project management
• A proactive and hands‑on mindset
• A passion for communication, languages, and people
• Knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms
• The ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• An appreciation for IKEA values and culture
