Job summary

European Defence Agency in Brussels is seeking a Project Officer for Collaborative Procurement of Equipment and Supplies on a three-year secondment as SNE. You will lead governance, harmonise technical requirements and support procurement processes for loitering munitions and related capabilities.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering, defence or related field.
At least seven years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in defence procurement programmes within a governmental defence organisation and/or an international organisation.
Experience translating technical requirements into procurement documentation for collaborative procurement.
Good knowledge of loitering munitions and related land-based precision-engagement capabilities.
Good understanding of EU institutions, EDA and NATO and related defence procurement initiatives.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Prepare and implement collaborative procurement activities for equipment and supplies.
Coordinate governance, national positions, risks, schedules, budgets and actions for projects.
Support procurement planning, tender documentation, evaluation and contract implementation.
