Next-Link in Mechelen, Belgium, seeks an experienced COBOL Software Engineer to develop, test and maintain COBOL programs for the proprietary B2B application suite, focusing on invoicing, product data, pricing and customer management.

You will join a close-knit team of about 30 colleagues including software engineers, application managers and IT architects, collaborating with business and solution analysts to translate needs into reliable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a COBOL Software Engineer.
• Hands-on with Enterprise Oracle databases.
• Ability to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for the B2B suite.
• Analyze and manage integrations with external platforms.
• Investigate incidents and drive resolutions.
• Support daily operations with the helpdesk and monitoring.
