Job summary

KCS IT is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Foundation Engineer to design and operate enterprise-grade cloud foundations across multiple clients. The role emphasizes IAM, security governance, and scalable networking, with strong emphasis on Terraform and Python automation.

You will collaborate with architecture, security and DevOps teams, migrate workloads to new platforms, and contribute to incident management and platform operations while delivering hybrid work arrangements.

We are looking for an Amazing: Google Cloud Foundation Engineer

Seniority: Senior

Type of position: hybrid 2 x week

The amazing you, will have:

• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in enterprise environments;
• Experience designing and implementing cloud foundations or landing zones;
• Strong knowledge of IAM, including RBAC models, federated identity and least privilege access principles;
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and governance (encryption, policies, access management, compliance requirements, threat modelling);
• Solid knowledge of cloud networking architectures;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and automation with Python;
• Experience implementing logging, monitoring and observability, and integrating with SIEM platforms;
• Experience operationalizing enterprise cloud platforms, including incident management and platform operations;
• Ability to support the migration of existing workloads to a new cloud platform;
• Experience collaborating with architecture, security and DevOps teams;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Experience with AI platforms such as Google Gemini, Microsoft Foundry or AWS Bedrock;
• Experience in regulated industries or financial institutions;
• Understanding of FinOps practices (cost tracking, showback/chargeback);
