Cigna Healthcare operates the European business through two Belgian based insurance entities, Cigna Life Insurance Company of Europe and Cigna Europe Insurance Company. The Chief Risk Officer (Europe) is a critical role responsible for leading the Risk Management Function of Cigna Healthcare's European Group.
Acting as the Risk Management Key Function Holder, the CRO Europe is accountable for the effectiveness of the enterprise risk management framework and ensuring compliance with related regulatory requirements. This role provides independent oversight of strategic, financial, operational, and regulatory risks while partnering closely with executive leadership to support informed decision-making and sustainable business growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the governance of the European business and help ensure the long-term financial strength, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance of Cigna Healthcare.
