The successful candidate will drive finance function maturity, provide commercial guidance to founders and investors, and prepare for liquidity events in a hybrid work setting.

Responsabilités

• Finance & Accounting Transformation: Elevate and scale the core accounting function, ensuring robust internal controls, governance, and compliance across international jurisdictions.
• Systems & Reporting Integration: Modernize financial systems and processes to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and drive seamless integration during M&A activity.
• Business Intelligence & Analytics: Design and implement data-driven, real-time financial and operational dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• International Expansion: Support both organic international growth and M&A integration, navigating cross-border financial, tax, and reporting structures.
• Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to the Founders and Board of Investors, offering strategic foresight, scenario planning, and commercial guidance.
• Exit Readiness & Liquidity Event: Lead the company through its next funding cycle, strategic refinancing, or exit, driving due diligence and investor presentation processes.
• Leadership & Operations: Manage, mentor, and build a small, highly effective finance team with a balanced approach- combining hands-on execution with broad strategic vision.

About the Opportunity:

An established, high-growth business headquartered in Antwerp is seeking an ambitious and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive the next phase of its international expansion.

As the business scales both organically and through targeted acquisitions, the incoming CFO will play a pivotal role in advancing the finance and accounting functions, modernizing financial infrastructure, and serving as a key business partner to the Founders and Private Equity / Investor Board.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader to take full ownership of a growing financial operation, implement strategic control mechanisms, and prepare the business for an upcoming liquidity event.

Candidate Profile

• Leadership Style: A high-integrity leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to establish operational foundations while remaining focused on long-term value creation and strategy.


• Track Record: Proven experience as a CFO or VP/Director of Finance in a fast-paced, investor-backed, or high-growth international business environment.


• M&A & Expansion: Demonstrated success in supporting buy-side/sell-side M&A transactions, Post-Merger Integration (PMI), and international scaling.


• Technical Excellence: Strong proficiency in financial system implementations, BI dashboarding toolsets, and advanced management reporting.


• Investor Relations: Deep experience collaborating with Founders, Private Equity sponsors, and board-level stakeholders.


• Location: Based in or within commuting distance of Antwerp, Belgium, with flexibility for a hybrid working model.
