BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking a Chapter Lead Developers to drive the digital transformation for Belgium’s largest bank. You will lead a development chapter focused on automation and software engineering, reporting to the IT Tribe Lead within the Customer Servicing & Efficiency tribe.

You will mentor engineers, grow agile practices, recruit talent, and shape the automation roadmap using RPA and related technologies. Strong Dutch or French plus excellent English are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar leadership role.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering and testing methodologies; background in RPA is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; growth mindset.
• Agile expertise and familiarity with agile teams and practices.
• Passion for innovation and a proactive attitude.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (oral and written) with strong English skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a development chapter as people manager and technical expert.
• Recruit and onboard chapter members; manage knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Ensure open communication with resource suppliers and partnerships.
• Support chapter members on complex questions and drive agile maturity.
• Provide ongoing feedback and participate in performance evaluations and remuneration decisions.
• Contribute to tribe leadership and represent the chapter in the tribe leadership team.
• Foster an open feedback culture and sponsor communities of practice.
