Job summary

VeroTech is seeking a Numerical Simulation Engineer for CFD and Multiphysics to advance design, optimization and validation of complex systems. You will perform CFD and multiphysics analyses, validate results against data, and communicate outcomes through reports and reviews.

You will collaborate with R&D, design, production and data science teams to connect simulation with experimentation and performance, leveraging automation and HPC tools in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Engineering Degree in Fluid Mechanics, Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Physics.
• 3–5 years of numerical simulation experience with a CFD focus in industry or academia.
• Proficiency in CFD tools such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+ with turbulence models and meshing.
• Experience with multiphysics or FEM is a strong plus; scripting, HPC/Linux, CAD prep, version control are advantageous.
• Technical English at least B2; French is an added value.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze compressible, incompressible, turbulent and multiphase flows for aerodynamics and thermal management.
• Run CFD studies with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, STAR-CCM+ or similar codes.
• Couple multiphysics phenomena with tools such as ANSYS Multiphysics or COMSOL.
• Perform FEM analyses to assess structural integrity and fatigue of components interacting with fluid flows.
• Validate simulations against data and communicate results via reports and reviews.
