The World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels, Belgium, seeks an Expert Trainer for the Countering Chemical and Biological Weapons Proliferation Project. The role centers on delivering tailored capacity-building trainings, developing new CBW materials, and coordinating translations within a multinational team.

You will also provide technical input at meetings with INTERPOL, OPCW, and WOAH, and draft project documentation while reporting to the Project Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience in Customs or a law enforcement agency with at least five years as a trainer in Strategic Trade Controls and/or CB domain.
• Proven technical expertise in the CB domain.
• Experience delivering training to diverse audiences and backgrounds.
• Experience developing and adapting training materials for beneficiary countries.

Responsabilités

• Organize content and delivery of high-level initial events, including agendas and liaison with external speakers.
• Provide expert advice to CBW needs assessments across six beneficiary administrations.
• Conduct training events based on needs assessments.
• Organize follow-up evaluation and mentoring visits; develop new CBW training materials and tools.
• Oversee translations of relevant materials and represent WCO at INTERPOL/OPCW/WOAH meetings.
