Johnson & Johnson is building two CAR-T manufacturing centers in Ghent area and seeking a Start-Up Engineer to join Build Operations. You will implement technology and process improvements for CAR-T manufacturing across EMEA, driving optimization, compliance, ramp‑ups and cost reductions.

Join a team collaborating with QA, QC, MSAT and partners to ensure readiness, alignment, and successful program delivery while advancing patient impact in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (Engineering, Bioscience, Pharmacy, Biochemistry) or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of pharma manufacturing/operations/project management experience, ideally aseptic GMP environments.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and cross-functional alignment.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Act as Project Lead to implement Major Strategic Programs and manage project risks.
• Represent Operations in Process Design with site strategy alignment for CAR‑T Tech Lane, Obelisc & Beerse.
• Develop budget plan and manage budget during project execution.
• Ensure facility and operational readiness in line with implementation plan.
• Ensure quality and compliance including change controls, audits and inspection readiness.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with QA, QC, MSAT, EHS, IT, Planning and partners.
