EMW, Inc. in Mons, Belgium, seeks a Technician (User Support) to install, configure, and maintain computing and network devices for office automation. You will support desktop hardware and software and manage user access across networks.

The role requires NATO SECRET clearance and hands-on experience in ICT CIS environments, including AD, SCCM, and ITSM processes. On-site, full-time contract with 100% on-site work.

Qualifications

• NATO SECRET clearance is required.
• Experience in supporting IT users, desktop hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Active Directory objects, user accounts and permissions.
• Experience in ICT CIS environments for 3+ years.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain and operate computers, printers and network devices for office automation.
• Install and configure COTS software on networked and standalone workstations.
• Configure LAN workstations with network client software.
• Configure local server software and peripheral devices.
• Create and troubleshoot user access issues for devices.
• Work with AD and Group Policy to execute requests and tasks.
• Prepare software packages for automatic deployment.
• Support IT security compliance and remediation.
• Participate in incident, change, configuration and asset management via ITSM.

Duties & Role:

• Install, maintain and operate the full range of computing, printing and network devices required to deliver systems and services for customer office automation.
• Install and configure for use, COTS software on networked and standalone workstations.
• Install and configure network client software on LAN workstations.
• Configure local server software and configure special peripheral devices.
• Create, maintain and troubleshoot user access issues for static and mobile devices.
• Work with Organisational Units in Active Directory and Group Policy Execute support requests, work orders and other tasks.
• Prepare software packages for automatic deployment.
• Contribute to IT Security compliance and remediation.
• Contribute to incident, change, configuration and asset management processes through ITSM toolkit.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Computing Technology Industry Associating (CompTIA A+) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
• Proven Experience working Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager.
• Proven Experience working with Active Directory Objects, user accounts and permissions.
• 3 years experience working in a ICT CIS environment.
• 3 years experience supporting IT users, desktop hardware and software.
• 3 years experience working in an IT administration role.
• Knowledge of the capabilities and deployment of Personal Computers (PC).
• Knowledge of current operating systems and office automation software.
