EMW, Inc. in Mons, Belgium, is seeking an Engineer (CIS Security) for full-time, on-site work. The role requires NATO SECRET clearance, Linux expertise, and hands-on security engineering to implement and maintain secure infrastructure.

The candidate will provide security solutions delivery, monitor systems, enforce security configurations, and remediate CIS findings across hybrid-cloud and on-premise environments. Start date is 30 October 2026 with end date 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance required.
• Knowledge of computer and network security principles.
• Hands-on Linux OS knowledge and automation experience.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
• Security technologies for hybrid-cloud, SASE and on-prem DMZ.
• Cyber hygiene and CIS Controls experience.
• Hands-on systems administration experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide support for project implementation and delivery of infrastructure security solutions.
• Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems post-implementation through continuous monitoring and addressing issues.
• Apply approved security configurations (hardening) and maintain the security posture of infrastructure elements.
• Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure elements.
• Plan, deploy and configure a variety of hardware, software, and security products.
• Perform other duties as may be required.

Duties & Role:

• Provide support for project implementation, and delivery of infrastructure security solutions
• Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems, services and applications post-implementation, through continuous monitoring and addressing any emerging issues in a timely manner.
• Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings), and continuously maintain the security posture of the infrastructure elements
• Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure elements
• Plan, deploy, and configure a variety of hardware, software, and security products;
• Perform other duties as may be required

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of and proven experience with linux OS, infrastructure as code and automation tools
• Knowledge of security technologies and solutions specific to hybrid-cloud, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and On-Premise DMZ capabilities
• Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defence.
• Practical hands-on experience with systems administration.
• Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve problems in innovative ways
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences and teams
