EMW, Inc. in Mons, Belgium is seeking an ICT Systems Engineer to manage ICT systems, networks and end-user devices, provide technical support, and deploy security patches.

You must hold active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance and have 2+ years’ experience with Windows servers/desktops, VMware vSphere or Hyper-V, AD, DNS and Exchange.

This full-time, on-site role requires independent problem solving and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance.
• At least 2 years of practical ICT end-system experience in a large org.
• Experience configuring hardware and software and troubleshooting issues.
• Strong understanding of ICT systems with ability to work independently.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V) and Windows server/client environments.

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day configuration and management of ICT systems, networks and end-user devices.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Deploy and monitor security patches for OS and applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (SOPs).

Duties & Role:

• Day-2-day configuration and management of ICT systems, network and end-user devices
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Deploy and monitor implementation of OS and application security hotfixes
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (i.e. Standard Operating Instructions)
• Manage the centralized antivirus solution and ensure device compliance

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance
• At least 2 years practical experience of implementation and maintenance of ICT end systems within a large organization.
• Extensive experience configuring hardware and software.
• A strong understanding of ICT systems and the ability to work independently to solve problems.
• Practical experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical support to end-users.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Proven experience in management of Windows-based environments, including servers and clients in distributed environment.
• Proven experience in network infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT services such as DNS, Active Directory, and other critical network services that support business operations.
• Working knowledge of collaboration platforms like Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell or Python, for automating deployment, administrative tasks, and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of database operations, management, and metadata standards, with an ability to apply this understanding in the configuration and interoperability of information systems.
• Practical experience in troubleshooting IT infrastructure related issues, perform regular maintenance.
