Akkodis is seeking an experienced BI & Analytics Application Analyst/Developer to support the Train Maintenance department across Belgium. The role combines application ownership, development, and functional analysis to deliver dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities include capturing client reporting needs, translating them into functional specifications, validating dashboards, maintaining documentation, and coordinating roadmaps with users and suppliers.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in SAP BW/BW4HANA and SAP Datasphere with project experience.
Strong background in Business Objects (BO) / Web Intelligence (Webi) reporting.
Hands-on Power BI development and data visualization skills.
Experience in SAP MM and SAP PM modules within railway or maintenance contexts.

Responsabilités

Identify and document client reporting needs for dashboards and reports.
Translate needs into concrete functional specifications for reporting purposes.
Maintain contact with departments and directors to coordinate requirements.
Conduct site visits to workshops for data collection and validation.
Provide input on reporting techniques via mock-ups, PoCs and best practices.
Validate dashboards and reports developed by internal or external developers.
Document solutions and keep documentation up-to-date.
Coordinate roadmaps with users, suppliers and stakeholders for improvements and incidents.
Act as the point of contact for colleagues on the application and reporting scope.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and consult with architects as needed.
Contribute to test scenarios, functional testing and data cleansing.

Within the BI & Analytics team, you will work as an application analyst/developer for projects of the Train Maintenance department. You will combine the roles of Application Owner, developer, and Functional Analyst.

You will identify and document the client's needs for the reports and dashboards for which you are responsible.
You will translate these needs into concrete functional specifications for specific reporting purposes.
You will maintain regular contact with various departments and their directors.
You are interested in maintenance schedules, immobilization schedules, transport plans, and human resources related to work schedules, and you are willing to conduct site visits to various workshops throughout the country.
You will provide input and proposals regarding reporting techniques to the business through mock-ups, Proof of Concepts, and best practices.
You will validate the reports and dashboards developed by an internal or external developer.
You will document the solutions and keep this documentation up-to-date.
You regularly coordinate with users, suppliers, and other stakeholders to develop and manage the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents).
As an expert in the application(s), reports, and dashboards you manage, you are the point of contact for colleagues and business stakeholders.
You continuously monitor the consistency with existing business and solution architecture and consult with Enterprise, System, and Solution Architects as needed.
You contribute to the development of test scenarios, functional testing, and data cleansing.
