ING Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Contract & Vendor Manager within Procurement Belgium to oversee supplier contracts from inception to renewal, ensuring value, risk control and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance, drive negotiations, supplier governance and continuous improvement, and report to Head of Contract & Vendor Management in a collaborative, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management or similar field.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a regulated environment.

• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle including signature, renewal, amendment and termination.
• Anticipate contract expirations and coordinate renewal activities with stakeholders.

Your role & work environment

Within Procurement Belgium, the Contract & Vendor Management team is responsible for managing supplier relationships and contracts throughout their lifecycle while ensuring value creation, risk management, and compliance with ING standards and regulatory requirements. As a Contract & Vendor Manager, you will manage a portfolio of supplier contracts and act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders. You will work closely with Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance teams to ensure contracts are fit for purpose, suppliers deliver according to expectations, and risks are effectively managed. You will contribute to sourcing activities, commercial negotiations, vendor governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including signature, renewal, amendment and termination.
• Anticipate contract expirations and coordinate renewal activities with all relevant stakeholders.
• Challenge business requirements and translate needs into appropriate contractual solutions.
• Participate in supplier sourcing activities and commercial negotiations.
• Conduct market analyses and benchmarking exercises to support decision-making.

• Identify, assess and monitor supplier and contract-related risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and participate in Vendor Review Meetings.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract and vendor management processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management or a similar field.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations and risk management.

You will report to the Head of Contract & Vendor Management, who reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer. You will be part of a collaborative team that combines commercial expertise, risk awareness and supplier management capabilities to support ING's strategic objectives.

Location

ING Belgium, Marnixlaan 24, 1000 Brussels. Hybrid way of working with up to 50% remote work, based on team agreements. Currently, Mondays and Wednesdays are office days.
