Job summary

Merck is seeking a Business Insights Analyst to shape decisions with data in a highly regulated pharma environment. You will partner across commercial, digital, medical and finance teams to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

The role focuses on forecasting, market research and performance analytics, with emphasis on translating analytics into clear, business-ready insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, data science or related.
• 3–5 years of business/data analysis experience in a regulated setting.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch a plus; pharma exposure is advantageous.
• Strong data visualization and SQL-based analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate actionable insights from internal and external data sources.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data into strategy.
• Deliver dashboards, reports and presentations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecast accuracy and business planning through analytics.
• Lead or support market research and validation of insights.
