Job summary

Agidens in Belgium seeks a Business Development Manager to grow our Validation & Compliance division in the Walloon region. You will acquire new customers, identify needs, prepare quotations and negotiate contracts.

You will work with a team of validation and compliance experts, balancing technical and commercial aspects, while enjoying a hybrid working model and meaningful development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in life sciences.
• Acquisition and cold calling are part of daily work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English.
• Knowledge of validation and GMP in pharma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and projects in pharmaceutical industry and hospitals.
• Identify customer needs and create tailor-made validation, testing, and compliance proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at client side and internally.
• Contribute to sales targets and growth of Agidens' validation and testing business in Wallonia.
• Report to management on progress and results of sales activities.

Job description

As Business Development Manager at Agidens, you will be responsible for the development and further expansion of our business activities within our Validation & Compliance division. With more than 25 years of experience, our Validation & Compliance team is a leading player in the field of validations within the life sciences industry.

In this position, you are responsible for both acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers in the Walloon region. You will search for new customers, identify their needs, prepare quotations and negotiate contracts.

What will you do?

• You actively seek out new clients and project opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry and hospitals.
• You identify customer needs and create tailor-made solutions and proposals related to validation, testing, and compliance.
• You build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, both at the client side and internally.
• You contribute to achieving sales targets and help drive the growth of Agidens' validation and testing business in Flanders.
• You report regularly to management on the progress and results of sales activities.

Who are you?

• To expand our validation activities, we are looking for a candidate with a proven sales experience in the life sciences industry.
• Acquisition and cold calling come naturally to you - you enjoy establishing new customer contacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are essential.
• Knowledge of validation activities and GMP within the pharmaceutical industry is a plus, but not a must. 'Patient Safety' is one of your core values.
• You are a driven team player who aims to achieve shared goals. A hands‑on mentality, flexibility, and the ability to take initiative are highly valued.
