Job summary

Rhox is seeking a Senior Business Controller to oversee budgets, forecasts and financial reporting across multiple departments. You will use SAP and cost allocation structures to explain financial performance and support management decisions with clear, actionable analysis.

The role requires at least five years in business controlling, a master’s degree in economics/finance/management, and strong Excel/BI skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in business controlling with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.
• Experience in large organisations and ability to interact with senior management.
• Masters degree in economics, finance or management required.
• SAP experience for financial monitoring and reporting is essential.
• Strong command of cost allocation structures: cost/profit centres, internal orders, WBS.

• Challenge budget assumptions and requests for additional funding.
• Identify root causes of financial deviations.
• Explain financial results to management.
• Work with senior managers to assess financial needs and impacts.

What you bring

• At least five years in business controlling, covering budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Experience working in large organisations.
• A master's degree in economics, finance or management.
• SAP experience for financial monitoring and reporting.
• Understanding of analytical objects and cost allocation structures: cost centres, profit centres, internal orders and WBS elements.
• Microsoft Office experience and advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including understanding business processes.
• Ability to work independently.
• French or Dutch, C1, with a good command of the other.

Nice to have

• Experience with a Distribution Grid Operator (DGO).
• Experience working with senior management.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
