MEOGROUP BELGIUM is seeking a Business Controller to support Finance & Administration across Belgium, based in Antwerp. The role combines financial control, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering in an international growth environment.

You will work with local entities and management, lead monthly closes, analyze variances, and drive improvement of controlling tools and processes. Fluent English and Dutch are required, with a start-up mindset and hands-on attitude.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in FP&A or business controlling.
• Ability to interact with operational stakeholders and drive recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Monitor activity, contracts, and projects across Belgium and Benelux, compare forecast vs actual performance.
• Prepare and adjust forecasts, budgets, and financial targets.
• Support monthly closing and reliable reporting with finance/operations teams.
• Analyze variances, track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor overhead costs and support optimization initiatives.
• Assist with working capital management and receivables risk awareness.
• Align financial reporting with analytical needs and improve tools/processes.
• Scope may expand to cross-border projects after onboarding.

MEOGROUP BELGIUM is looking for a Business Controller to support the Finance & Administration leadership across Belgium (Payroll Contract for our client active in Engineering Services based in Antwerp).

This role combines financial control, business partnering, forecasting, reporting, and operational performance follow-up in an international and growing environment.

Business Controller – Belgium

Our client, an international group is looking for a Business Controller to support its Finance leadership in the further development of activities across Belgium.

This position offers a broad scope with strong exposure to both operational and strategic topics, while working closely with local entities and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business activity, contracts, and projects across the Benelux region, and anticipate gaps between forecast and actual performance using POC methodology
• Prepare, review, and adjust forecasts, budgets, and financial targets in line with business priorities
• Support the monthly closing process in collaboration with finance and operations teams, ensuring timely and reliable reporting
• Analyze variances, track KPIs, and provide management with clear recommendations and corrective actions
• Monitor overhead costs and contribute to optimization initiatives across operational support categories
• Help improve working capital performance and support receivables follow-up, including risk awareness on payments
• Contribute to the alignment between financial and analytical reporting and support continuous improvement of controlling tools and processes
• After successful onboarding, the scope may expand to support cross-border or international projects

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, Economics, or equivalent experience
• At least 6 years of experience in business controlling or FP&A
• Strong analytical mindset, solid Excel skills, and confidence working with financial data and performance indicators
• Able to interact effectively with operational stakeholders and translate figures into practical business insight,
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Start-up mentality, Autonomous, hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable
