V-IT NV is seeking a Business Consultant to join the Product Journey Tribe, focusing on Shared Services. The role centers on designing insights and solutions, acting as a bridge between business and technology, and delivering value through transformation programs.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing roadmaps, and ensuring ongoing business value. Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and Agile mindset. On-site with 2 days/week in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in process modeling, management, and documentation, with affinity for IT and/or network domains.
• Knowledge of AWS, SQL, data modeling concepts, and UX experience are assets.
• Knowledge of service assurance process is a plus.
• Understanding of business analysis best practices and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, building trust and collaboration across teams.
• Affinity with telecom and experience in agile environments are a plus.

• Act as a bridge between business and technology domains, challenge requirements, and monitor business value.
• Determine acceptance criteria, validate end-to-end solutions, coach implementation and change management activities.
• Lead process design and continuous improvement within the One Business Process framework.
• Document chosen solution directions, business requirements, and ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Act as a point of contact and domain expert for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Organize knowledge administration and maintain consistent documentation.
• Provide consolidated analyses and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Work Regime: Full-time

On-Site Requirement: 2 office days per week (a third day may be required during the initial period)

Language Requirement: Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Role Description

As a Business Consultant, you will maximize business value by designing insights, concepts, and solutions for existing and future challenges, acting as a trusted advisor and bridge between business and technology teams. You will play a key role in business transformation projects by providing solutions or designing processes in line with strategic objectives.
