Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Business Analysis or ICT projects.

• Expertise in Process Mapping, Requirements Management, and Risk & Quality Management.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with passive knowledge of the other language.

Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is seeking a professional to support the stabilization and modernization of its automated recognition infrastructure. This role focuses on performing functional analyses and translating operational requirements from the field into technical solutions for traffic management initiatives.

• Define and document clear requirements and standards for traffic initiatives within the program.
• Identify tasks, dependencies, and risks while reporting progress and bottlenecks to key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain quality management plans to ensure project results meet required standards.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the success of various projects.
• Document technical and functional information in a structured manner to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of the ecosystem by evaluating new technologies and capacity needs.
• Collaborate with data protection experts to provide necessary input for impact assessments and risk analyses.

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Business Analysis or guiding ICT projects.
• Proven experience working within complex IT environments for public sector or governmental organizations.
• Expertise in Process Mapping, Requirements Management, and Risk & Quality Management.
• Proficiency with MS Visio, PowerBI, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and capable of structuring complex information with a critical eye.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with passive knowledge of the other language.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with ANPR systems, camera technology, or traffic enforcement processes.
• Knowledge of DPIA processes and privacy legislation regarding data processing.
• Good knowledge of English for consulting technical documentation.

• Start date: 15 September 2026
• Duration: project until end of 2026 (renewable)
• Work regime: Full-time
• Location: Brussels
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days/week onsite)
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
