Pauwels Consulting is seeking a seasoned Business/Functional Analyst to shape digital solutions for a gas flow management system in Brussels. You will lead requirements gathering, create UML/BPMN models, and translate needs into user stories for cross-functional teams operating in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, backlog and sprint management, and hands-on testing and training like product demonstrations.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in functional and business analysis within Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, LeSS).
• Proficiency in UML and BPMN modeling.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect and Confluence for modeling and documentation.
• Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Experience with backlog and sprint management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of simplifying complex challenges.
• Proactive and collaborative with excellent stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English with good command of French or Dutch, and willingness to improve.

This role focuses on the end-to-end product lifecycle of a gas flow management system, from gathering requirements to post-deployment support in an Agile environment.

• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify complex business requirements.
• Translate business needs into conceptual models such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and information models.
• Refine requirements into user stories and collaborate with developers to ensure successful sprint delivery.
• Execute functional tests and support users during acceptance testing while conducting product demonstrations and training.
• Manage service requests and production issues to suggest continuous improvements for the product suite.
• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
