Capco is seeking a Business Analyst – Digital Assets & Blockchain to join our Brussels team. You will translate business needs into requirements for tokenization, digital assets, and DLT initiatives within financial services, collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams in an Agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of BA experience in banking or payments, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English; Dutch or French is a plus. Flexible hybrid setup offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, IS, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of BA experience in financial services is preferred.
• Experience with Digital Assets, Blockchain or Tokenization is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is an asset.

The Role

The financial services industry is rapidly evolving through the adoption of Digital Assets, Blockchain, Tokenization, and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). These technologies are reshaping payments, capital markets, digital identity, custody, and the way financial institutions create, exchange, and manage value.

As a Business Analyst – Digital Assets & Blockchain, you will join Capco's consulting team and work on strategic client transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams to understand business needs, optimize processes, and translate innovative ideas into practical business solutions.

Whether supporting tokenization initiatives, blockchain-based platforms, digital wallets, or emerging Digital Asset use cases, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the future of financial services.

Your Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and business processes.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and translate business needs into clear business requirements and user stories.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Functional Analysts, Solution Architects, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support business testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and change management activities.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience within banking, payments, capital markets, insurance, or financial services.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with BPMN or similar process modelling techniques is considered an advantage.
• Proven experience working on Digital Asset, Blockchain, or Tokenization initiatives within the financial services sector.

Business & Technical Skills

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into business requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.

Digital Assets & Blockchain Experience

We're looking for professionals with practical experience in one or more of the following domains:
