Job summary

Capco is seeking a Business Consultant with Financial Services experience to join our Brussels-based team. You’ll work across diverse client engagements, shaping strategy, processes and transformation initiatives in banking, insurance and capital markets.

You’ll analyze challenges, gather requirements, map processes and contribute to new operating models while coordinating with stakeholders across business, technology and risk domains. English and Dutch language skills are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, wealth or asset management.
• Consulting, business analysis, transformation, project delivery or similar roles.
• Understanding of financial institutions, products, processes and regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

About the role

As a Business Consultant at Capco, you will work alongside our clients on a wide range of strategic, business and transformation challenges within the financial services sector.

Your assignments can vary significantly. On one project, you might help a client redesign a business process or translate business needs into requirements. On another, you could contribute to a large-scale transformation, support the implementation of a new operating model or help stakeholders navigate regulatory or organizational change.

What you’ll do

Depending on the project, you may:

What we’re looking for

You have:

Professional experience withinbanking, insurance, payments, capital markets, wealth or asset management, or another financial services environment.

Experience in consulting, business analysis, transformation, project delivery or a comparable role.

A broad understanding of how financial institutions operate, including their products, processes and regulatory environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ability to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

The flexibility to move between different projects, topics and client environments.

A hands-on mentality and the ability to take ownership of your work.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Professional fluency inEnglish and good knowledge of Dutch.

Most importantly, you are curious and adaptable. You don't need to be an expert in every financial services domain, but you should be able to quickly understand a new business context, ask the right questions and create value for our clients.
