Our client, a leading international brand in the automotive sector, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Gent. The role focuses on translating business needs into detailed functional specifications for IT system development and enhancements.

You will gather detailed requirements, develop functional specs, collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Managers, coordinate with external vendors, design UAT tests, and maintain process documentation and reusable assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst within IT projects.
• Proven ability to create User Stories, Story Maps, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience defining non-functional requirements and performing UAT validation.
• Technical knowledge of data integration in Azure cloud or SaaS environments.
• Solid Java or .NET background to discuss solution design.
• Experience managing external vendors and implementation partners.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and identify optimizations.
• Proactive, process-oriented mindset with excellent communication.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Nice to have understanding of EU legislation.

• Gather detailed requirements and functional specifications for the development and improvement of IT systems.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Managers to align functional and legal requirements.
• Develop functional specifications and produce project-related deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure required functionalities are accurately implemented and validated.
• Design user test cases and validate results during the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase.
• Maintain process documentation and create reusable assets for the organization.

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst within IT projects, focusing on system development or enhancement.
• Proven expertise in creating User Stories, Story Maps, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Hands-on experience defining non-functional requirements and conducting UAT validation.
• Technical knowledge of data integration techniques within Azure cloud or SaaS environments.
• Solid technical background in Java or .NET to facilitate discussions on solution design.
• Experience managing external vendors and implementation partners for functionality handovers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business processes and identify optimization areas.
• Proactive and process-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
