Job summary

Community Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead IT projects within a public administration environment in Brussels. The role aligns business needs with IT teams and external suppliers, ensuring governance and reliable software delivery, and includes acting as Application Manager for access-related activities at the Administrative Centre.

The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring at least three on-site days per week in central Brussels, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of PRINCE2 project management.
• Expert-level knowledge of MSP.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in French or Dutch.
• Limited working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work full-time in a hybrid arrangement with on-site Brussels.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document client requirements in alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams and external suppliers.
• Plan and monitor project activities, deliverables, milestones and dependencies.
• Consolidate workload estimates, costs and resource requirements.
• Manage software deliveries, developments and adaptations within agreed deadlines.
• Identify and monitor risks, issues, dependencies and deviations, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure the quality, compliance and suitability of delivered solutions.
• Establish project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain operational documentation and support service continuity and continuous improvement.
• Act as Application Manager for access-related activities at the Administrative Centre.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and effective operational support.
