Bird & Bird Brussels is seeking an HR Coordinator to manage onboarding/offboarding, payroll administration, and personnel records. You will support recruitment and partner with the HR Manager on international HR initiatives in a dynamic, service-minded team.

The ideal candidate holds a higher education degree in HR or related field, with Belgian payroll experience and fluent Dutch, French, and English. Strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a higher education degree, ideally in HR, administration, office management, or related field.
• Experience with payroll administration and understanding Belgian employment law.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong IT skills, especially in Excel; eager to learn new systems.

Responsabilités

• Onboard and offboard colleagues, draft contracts, manage induction and registrations, and ensure processes are completed when someone leaves the firm.
• Administer personnel records from A to Z, including payroll, annual leave, absences, insurance, HR databases, reports and records.
• Support recruitment activities: draft/post job ads, coordinate interviews, maintain candidate communication, and conduct first-round interviews when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the HR Manager and International HR-team on HR initiatives and projects to support people strategy and employee experience.
