BRG is seeking motivated economists to join its Economics Practice in Brussels. You will contribute to competition economics work, including literature reviews, data cleaning, econometric analyses, and delivering client-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics or related field from a leading university.
• Previous internship or work experience in competition economics or related area.
• Interest in competition economics with knowledge of microeconomics and industrial organization.
• Proficiency in Excel and statistical software (R/Stata/Python).
• Ability to draft and communicate effectively in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee engagement work streams, qualitative or quantitative.
• Perform data cleaning, econometric analyses, and quality control checks.
• Develop client-ready materials and conduct in-depth industry research.
• Present findings through data visualization and client reports.
• Support interns and supervise junior staff; participate in business development.
