Job summary

BRG in Brussels is seeking Consulting staff for its Competition Economics practice. You will join a dynamic team to tackle rigorous qualitative and quantitative engagements, including econometric analyses and client-facing deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree in Economics, has internship or work experience in competition economics, and is proficient in Excel and R/Stata/Python. English and German communication skills are essential, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Economics from a leading university.
Internship or work experience in competition economics or related field.
Strong knowledge of microeconomics and industrial organization.
Proficient in Excel and statistical software (R/Stata/Python) and willing to train others.
Excellent written and spoken English and German; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute and oversee qualitative or quantitative engagement work streams.
Data cleaning and econometric analyses.
Develop client-ready materials and present findings.
Conduct market research and literature reviews.
Communicate results clearly and manage project tasks.
Mentor interns or junior staff.
Contribute to business development activities such as papers, conferences and workshops.
