Buchanan in Brussels is seeking an associate with 2–6 years of PQE in EU competition/antitrust to join our leading competition practice. You will handle merger control, cartel investigations, and regulatory advisory work within a multinational team.

The Brussels office focuses on high-profile, cross-border matters, offering exposure to EC processes and multi-jurisdictional filings, with a partner-led interview process and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–6 PQE with EU competition / antitrust experience.
• Experience with European Commission processes and multi-jurisdictional filings.
• Fluent English required; additional EU languages beneficial.
• Commercial, detail-oriented, and keen to develop within a specialist practice.

Responsabilités

• Advise on EU competition matters including merger control, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance.
• Work on EC proceedings and cross-border filings; provide regulatory advisory support.
