A prominent law firm in Belgium is seeking a qualified lawyer to join their Antitrust practice. The successful candidate will have a maximum of 5 years of experience and must have completed a Bar traineeship in the EU. Strong proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of French or Dutch is an added advantage. Our client's Antitrust practice group consists of 18 specialist lawyers and advises on all aspects of competition law and represents clients before the European Commission, EU courts and national competition authorities. We have consistently been involved in some of the most complex and high-profile cartel cases, behavioural antitrust matters and merger filings.

• For consideration:
  • Completion of Bar traineeship in the EU; or a qualified lawyer with up to 5 years of experience in the Antitrust practice of a reputable law firm;
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French or Dutch would be a plus;
• Master in Law from an EU university preferable

You will be a part of a dynamic team, closely involved in both cross-departmental and cross-border transactions and cases, backed up by regular team meetings which enable the team to share relevant experience in an efficient way. The Group run national and international secondment programmes to allow the lawyers to work with other departments, other people and to be exposed to the different cultures that the firm encompasses. They offer dedicated local and global training programmes and also organise professional training on communication, IT skills, management and business development skills.
