News Media Europe is seeking an EU Policy Manager to shape and deliver advocacy at the EU level. You will manage a portfolio covering AI, copyright, competition policy, data policy, media freedom and digital regulation, in Brussels.

Based in Brussels, you will monitor developments, draft position papers and coordinate with member associations, industry partners and EU institutions to advance common positions and visibility of the association.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4–6 years of Brussels-based EU public affairs experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EU institutions and legislative processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to articulate policy clearly.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and analyse EU legislative and policy developments
• Draft position papers, responses, briefings and amendments
• Develop advocacy strategies and represent News Media Europe with policymakers
• Coordinate member working groups and align national perspectives
• Engage with EU institutions, industry partners and civil-society groups
• Support external communications and events to raise visibility
