Anthropic in Brussels seeks an experienced EU Policy Analyst to build relationships with EU institutions, think tanks, academia and policy partners, shaping policy positions that balance safety, innovation, and European competitiveness.

You will analyze policy proposals, map the EU policy landscape, draft submissions for public comment, plan events, and coordinate with the EMEA policy team to amplify Anthropic's policy presence across the EU.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the EU's digital regulatory landscape.
• Professional experience working on EU digital policy.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory topics into accessible information.
• Track record of effective advocacy with EU governments and regulatory authorities.
• Experience in event planning and stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; identify priorities within the EU for Anthropic.

Responsabilités

• Support policy engagement with the EU Commission, Parliament, agencies and public sector partners on regulatory implications for frontier labs.
• Engage key policy stakeholders via briefings, consultations, demos, and roundtables, in coordination with the wider EMEA policy team.
• Analyze policy proposals and map the EU policy landscape to inform Anthropic's positions.
• Draft submissions for public comment and consultations.
• Plan events and build strategic campaigns that amplify Anthropic's policy presence.
• Cultivate relationships with key policy and political partners across the EU AI policy ecosystem.
• Partner with the EMEA GTM team to support commercial efforts as appropriate.
