CellCarta is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to develop and operate bioinformatics pipelines, software applications, and data workflows within Genomics Services. You will contribute to data processing, cloud infrastructure, and internal R&D initiatives across a diverse project portfolio.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience, strong Python or R skills, and familiarity with Nextflow or Snakemake, plus exposure to cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bioinformatics experience in industry preferred (internship, academic, or research experience considered).
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with knowledge of coding best practices and Git usage.
• Experience developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines, preferably in production environments.

Responsabilités

• Executes projects and tasks assigned by the Head of the Bioinformatics Team, meeting timelines and quality standards.
• Develops, maintains, validates, and optimizes bioinformatics analysis pipelines and workflows.
• Designs and implements software applications and ETL solutions to support data processing, integration, and reporting.
