AAA is seeking a Billing & Invoicing Consultant to help clients optimize their invoicing process. You will work on projects, preparing invoices, validating data, and ensuring timely delivery while collaborating with Sales, Customer Care and Credit Control.

With a degree in accounting or finance and experience with SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, you will improve cycle efficiency, reduce DSO, and contribute to accurate monthly closings.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferably with invoicing experience.
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel.
• Clear communication in Dutch and French; English is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepare invoices and monitor data accuracy (prices, discounts, VAT, client agreements).
• Check invoices, send on time, and follow up on queries and disputes.
• Analyze the invoicing cycle to identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, and Credit Control to strengthen the order-to-cash process.
• Support monthly closings and contribute to timely, accurate reporting.

An accurate invoice is more than just a figure on paper. It is the starting point of a healthy cash flow, a professional client relationship, and a smooth order-to-cash cycle. At AAA, we are not looking for a traditional administrative worker who just processes invoices, but a Billing & Invoicing Consultant who understands that every invoice counts and wants to structurally improve the processes behind them.

Your mission as an AAA Consultant

As a Billing & Invoicing Consultant, you will work on a project basis for our clients: companies that count on your expertise to optimize and strengthen their invoicing process. You don’t do this by simply taking over tasks, but by making processes smarter. This comes with the security of a permanent contract at AAA and follows our proven AAA formula:

• Attitude: You are precise, proactive, and customer-oriented. You know that an invoicing error goes beyond just a number; it affects the relationship with the client. You like order, but are flexible enough to adapt to the way each organization works.
• Action: You prepare invoices, check data, send them on time, and follow up on client queries and disputes professionally. You don’t wait for problems to pile up. You identify and tackle them.
• Added Value: You look beyond daily operations. You identify bottlenecks in the invoicing cycle, suggest improvements, and actively contribute to a shorter DSO and a healthier cash flow for the client.

What will you actually be doing?

• You prepare invoices and monitor the accuracy of all data: prices, discounts, VAT rules, and client agreements.
• You check and send invoices on time and in line with client agreements.
• You proactively follow up on client queries and disputes and ensure smooth and professional handling.
• You analyze the invoicing cycle and identify where processes can become more efficient.
• You work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Care, and Credit Control to strengthen the entire order-to-cash chain.
• You support monthly closings and contribute to accurate and timely reporting.

Who are you?

• You have an associate or bachelor’s degree in an accounting or financial field and preferably some experience in Billing, Invoicing, or a related role.
• You work fluently with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel holds no secrets for you.
• You communicate clearly in Dutch and French. English is an asset for our international projects.
• You are analytically minded and have an eye for detail, but never lose sight of the bigger picture.
