Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a data engineer with a strong DevOps profile to support the digitalisation of Belgium's justice processes in Brussels. You will build and automate data pipelines, ensure data quality, and maintain BI publication layers for SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI and Apache Superset.

The role combines data engineering, BI DevOps and governance within a public-sector context, with a 12-month assignment in a hybrid Brussels setting.

Qualifications

Master's or bachelor's degree in an ICT field or equivalent through experience.
5+ years in data engineering, data warehousing or BI, incl. 2+ years with CI/CD.
Experience translating business requirements into data requirements and acceptance criteria.
Experience setting up and monitoring data quality controls.

Responsibilities

Translate standards into functional and technical data requirements for data flows and reporting.
Gather information needs with Product Owner and analysts and develop user stories with acceptance criteria.
Define data definitions and KPIs for consistent calculations.
Act as data/BI contact, coordinating with developers, architects, testers and stakeholders.
Develop, automate and monitor data quality rules and data lineage documentation.
