Flexcity, a Veolia subsidiary, is seeking a Strategy Lead - BESS & RES to join our Brussels office (with option to Amsterdam or Paris). You will shape product strategy, drive growth, and collaborate across product, sales, technology, and operations to deliver innovative services in the European energy market.

You will build a compelling vision for BESS & RES, manage go-to-market initiatives, mentor teams, and foster a culture of rapid testing and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch; tri-lingual is a strong plus.
• Expertise on European energy markets and market design implications.
• Rigour and analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of and network in the European BESS & RES ecosystem.
• Strategic Visionary with clear product direction.
• Collaborative leadership bridging tech, business and sales.
• Negotiation skills for complex energy market deals.
• Mentorship and coaching to grow the team.

Responsabilités

• BESS & RES Product Strategy — develop a compelling product vision.
• Define and track performance metrics and market fit.
• Ensure internal teams understand product features and updates.
• Master topics in the BESS & RES segment and share knowledge.
• Participate in the Flexcity Strategic Committee.
• BESS & RES Market Growth — tailor to customer needs across geographies.
• Drive growth with scalable tools and standard features.
• Support sales in closing complex deals with industry knowledge.
• Align product deltas with customer requirements.
• Mentor local teams and foster rapid testing and learning.
