Sompo International is seeking a VP, Head of Claims for Belgium and Netherlands. This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing a customer satisfaction-driven claims function within a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will oversee claims management, negotiate settlements, monitor KPIs, manage relationships with clients, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of the BeNe insurance market.
• High degree of technical claims expertise across multiple lines.
• Educated to degree level, legal qualification desirable.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate claims settlements and establish claims reserves.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate Governance standards.
• Monitor service providers’ KPIs and outsourced claims handling.
• Participate as a senior leader in the global claims team.
• Mentor and train junior members of the team.
• Foster and manage relationships with key clients and brokers.
