Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D is recruiting for an Associate Director, Program Management Leader. This hybrid role will be located in Beerse, Belgium, and will translate CDT strategy into a Compound Development Plan (CDP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in Pharmaceutical, CRO or related Healthcare industry.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical development process.
• Experience in Project Management within R&D.
• Knowledge of PM systems, methodologies and tools.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, CPM) preferred.
• Clinical research operational knowledge required.
• Experience across Phase I–IV studies preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Mentoring/coaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and financial management skills.
• Ability to manage all aspects of execution of a clinical trial.
• Ability to lead without authority in matrixed and global environments.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the PMT sub-team of the CDT and coordinate cross-functional PMs.
• Translate CDT strategy into a Compound Development Plan (CDP).
• Monitor program scope, timelines and budget with cross-functional partners.
• Provide cost estimates and surface operational risks for governance.
• Ensure alignment of CDT execution with strategy and approvals.
• Maintain risk registers and escalation pathways.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative CDT and Team of Teams.
