Job summary

VITO is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager at the EnergyVille campus in Genk to translate university-developed technologies into market-ready products and services. You will co-develop and commercialize innovations with industry partners, work with Battery Management and Battery Testing teams, and lead valorisation strategies.

You will report to the Valorisation Director and engage in networking, contract development, and technology transfer activities across multiple units,

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in engineering, energy, building & construction.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience in commercial/valorisation roles for R&D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop products and services with industrial partners and transfer technology to market.
• Support business development and commercial activities for two technology teams.
• Define and execute valorisation roadmap and commercial action plans.
• Coordinate R&D proposals and negotiate contracts.
