Job summary

VITO is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in the Water & Energy Transition unit at EnergyVille, Genk. You will help bring technologies to market by co-developing products and services with companies and managing technology transfer efforts.

You will work with Battery Management and Battery Testing teams, support contract negotiations, and drive valorisation strategies while engaging in external networking to source new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in innovation or R&D environment.
• Experience protecting and valorising IP.
• Strong CRM and key account management capabilities.
• Ability to translate market/tech trends into customer solutions.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop valorisation roadmap and commercial action plans.
• Co-develop new products and services with industry partners.
• Register and manage client interactions and follow-up contracts.
• Lead collaboration with Lead Scientists to advance contracts to market.
• Support R&D proposals and technology transfer negotiations.
• Report portfolio status to Valorization Director.
