Harmoney is looking for a Backend Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud-native services powering our platform. You will work with Product and fellow engineers to shape scalable solutions from design to deployment, taking ownership from day one.

You will design secure APIs, optimize database models, and contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and AI-powered development workflows, helping thousands of professionals rely on our software daily.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise applications in Java.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to design secure REST APIs and scalable backend services.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java.
• Develop secure REST APIs and cloud-native features.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable software.
• Design and optimise database models and SQL queries.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality features.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Continuously improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
