Job summary

Actito seeks a Backend Engineer to join the Channel Team in Louvain-la-Neuve. You will shape architecture, build high-performance APIs, and scale messaging services in a collaborative Scrum setting. The role emphasizes cloud-native, AI-assisted development and secure coding practices.

You will work with Java/Spring, Kafka, and databases and engage with PMs and UX designers to deliver multichannel engagement at scale, across mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and Spring backend development with REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven design.
• Knowledge of multichannel mobile workflows and deliverability concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with PMs and UX designers in a Scrum setting.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
