Rhox is seeking a software developer to build and maintain backend business applications in Python or Java, in Brussels. You will work with a solution architect or lead developer to implement features and APIs, handle cloud configurations, and improve CI/CD processes.

The role involves writing clean code, documenting features, and participating in Agile ceremonies. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience and strong English (C1) plus Dutch or French language skills.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of professional software development.
• Independent day-to-day development in Python or Java.
• Practical public cloud experience, including identity, storage and monitoring.
• DevOps practices: Git flow, pull requests, environment promotion, secret hygiene.
• English (C1).
• Dutch or French (native).

Responsabilités

• Build backend features, REST APIs, services and data access.
• Configure cloud services and troubleshoot logging, identity and storage.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and automated tests.
• Write clear code and document delivered features.
• Estimate and refine work, flagging risks early.
• Join Agile ceremonies and pair on unfamiliar topics.
