Job summary

Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join a Brussels-based client project. You will design, develop, and govern data solutions on Microsoft Azure, contributing to the evolution of the Azure Databricks architecture and supporting self-service data initiatives.

You will collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimization while advancing Data Platform governance and Lakehouse architectures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar Azure data engineering role.
• Proven experience with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Azure data architecture.
• Analytical mindset, autonomy, problem-solving skills, and team spirit.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Implement modern data architectures (Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse).
• Develop and industrialize new business use cases.
• Contribute to Databricks Unity Catalog governance and data sharing.
• Support self-service data strategy implementations.
• Monitor and optimize Azure and Databricks performance and costs.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Document data flows, architecture, and best practices.
• Maintain and improve the Azure Data Platform.
