ITS Group Benelux is seeking a Medior Data Architect to design and evolve an Azure-based data platform for smart city initiatives in Brussels. The role combines enterprise data architecture, cloud engineering, governance, AI/ML integration, and digital twin work, with at least two days on-site per week.

You will lead real-time ingestion pipelines, data model definitions, and end-to-end data architectures while ensuring secure, scalable cloud solutions and strong governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional IT experience is required.
• Fluency in French or Dutch and professional English proficiency.
• Experience with Azure data platforms and cloud-native data engineering.

Responsabilités

• Design and evolve Azure-based Lakehouse architectures and data platforms.
• Oversee ELT/ETL processes and orchestration with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement governance, data cataloging, and AI/ML integration via Purview and MLOps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive architectural decisions and adoption.
• Lead security, RBAC, networking, and data privacy across platforms.
