ITproposal in Brussels is seeking a Medior Data Architect to drive a modern Azure Data Platform and Digital Twin initiatives in a Smart City environment. The role combines data architecture design with real-time processing, governance and security, and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will contribute to end-to-end data pipelines, CI/CD, IaC, and AI/ML integration, working onsite part-time and collaborating with stakeholders in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse and Databricks.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling and Lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of Digital Twins, IoT, geospatial and BIM data.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Power BI and cloud data security.
• Knowledge of MDM/EDM, APIs/ESB and modern data governance.
• Understanding of AI/ML and MLOps is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the design and implementation of Azure Data Architecture.
• Support Digital Twin projects involving IoT, geospatial and BIM data.
• Design end-to-end data architectures for real-time ingestion and processing.
• Support CI/CD implementation and Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and Lakehouse architectures.
• Contribute to data governance, security and data quality initiatives.
• Support AI/ML and advanced analytics integration into the data platform.
