Job summary

Mobilexpense is a European SaaS company delivering expense management solutions. We are seeking a Junior/Medior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud & Infra team and help build secure, automated Azure-based infrastructure.

You will work with Azure App Services, Container Apps, Functions and SQL, using Terraform, Azure DevOps and GitHub, while collaborating with software engineers and security teams. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, automation, observability, and production

Qualifications

• Initial professional experience in a Cloud/DevOps or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Terraform is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git and modern software delivery practices.
• Scripting and automation skills; PowerShell is relevant.
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, security and IAM.
• Troubleshooting mindset and ability to investigate problems beyond symptoms.
• Interest in automation and reducing repetitive manual operations.
• Ability to collaborate with Cloud, Software Engineering and Security teams.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• AI-first mindset and willingness to leverage AI tools in engineering.
• Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure App Services, Container Apps, Azure Functions or Azure SQL is valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Support workloads running on Azure App Services, Container Apps and Functions.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers on deployments and reliability.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure tooling.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of our Azure architecture.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking, connectivity and DNS.
• Monitor and improve availability, performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Maintain observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Investigate deployment issues with Software Engineers to identify root causes.
• Work with Security Engineering on identity, access, network security and data protection.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate infrastructure.
