Job summary

Ayesa Digital is seeking a BI Data Engineer to join its international data team, supporting a leading European institution in digital transformation. You will design, build, and maintain modern data platforms, EDW, Data Lake, and BI solutions to enable data-driven decision making.

You'll work with Azure services, Python, SQL, and Power BI to deliver scalable pipelines, dashboards, and data models. The role requires strong English communication and EU security clearance eligibility, in a

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with Python for data engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL and relational database technologies.
• At least 2 years with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and BI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services and data warehouse concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes on Azure and Python.
• Build and optimize EDW, Data Lake, and Lakehouse for analytics.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Create data models including star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop Power BI reports, semantic models, KPIs, and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
